i free myself

as i bless my sacred spaces within
i nod my heavy head and savor,
for one last time, this
empty place filled with painful memories.
i cry today for these many losses i have endured.
my innocence, my faith at times.... and my dreams that i willingly gave away....
i cry for these pains i carry.
for the scars i wear ~ visible, non & verbal.
For the dysfunctions that have surrounded my world.
for the children i have left behind, including myself,
and for everything i was ever meant to be that i am not.
yet, or otherwise.

i move forward now and bless this space behind.
for without seting it free, it will always trap me.
i wash my hands of my sins...
of these invisible memories that have weighed me down thus far.
i am freeing myself of my own binds,
and i am sageing this intimate space within that has housed my deepest of secrets, lies and shames....
i will no longer be captive of my own world. i will no longer reside in these houses of unholiness.

i am freeing myself of me
and all that been shown to me
that is false, dark, weak & negative
